Anker is recalling nearly 80,000 of its Soundcore and PowerConf Bluetooth speakers in the U.S. and Canada after reports of some of the speakers’ lithium batteries overheating and catching fire.

According to CPSC, a recall has been initiated for about 69,000 Anker Soundcore (A3102), and PowerConf Bluetooth (A3302) Speakers because the lithium-ion batteries can overheat, posing a fire hazard.

Anker has recalled its Soundcore A3102 speaker (the black model only) and the AnkerWork A3302 PowerConf S3 speakerphone device. The affected model numbers are A3102016, A3302011, and A3302031.
