There's a great, sudden need for temporary housing for residents who have lost their homes in this week's Los Angeles area fires. A group from Denver is sending RVs to the region to help out with that need.

A local Red Cross volunteer is heading to Los Angeles to help those in need amid wildfires that have ravaged the county. She is helping the Red Cross provide thousands of people who need food, water and a place to sleep.

California’s fire agency reported that five wildfires have burned more than 37,000 acres, destroyed 10,000 buildings, and caused at least 11 deaths.

Local artists from a variety of genres will perform sets throughout the night. There is no cover charge. People are encouraged to donate what they can.
